What is a Crank Guard

Crank guard protector is made of a tiny piece of metal installed underneath the oil cooler, radiator and engine – (refer Picture A).

The purpose of Crank Guard

Crank Guard offers protection to prevent stones, objects which may damage the radiator, engine sump, oil cooler, piping etc. From Picture B show, after dismantling the crank guard, you may realize how important the functioning of this crank guard is.

Why OE crank guard needs to be changed

The present OE Crank Guard as mentioned above is good for highway and motorway. Ask yourself, are you driving your vehicle only on good road condition, if yes Congratulation, no need to replace. If not, we advise you to replace a tough crank guard, please seek our technician for comparison of material used – Picture C. The present OE crank guard is so fragile easily damage as seen.

The Replacement crank guard ( Picture C )  is made of high tensile metal – 3 mm thickness, silver powdered coat specially designed to offer better protection while you are driving to your plantation, rubber estate, tropic rainforest resort in remote area, jungle etc.

What is the consequence may happen to your vehicle while driving in those severe road conditions:
                                                                                                          
1.      Your engine oil sump guard may crack if your vehicle undercarriage is hitting stones, pot hole, dead trees etc. especially on night time driving, difficult to visual in darkness.
2.      May damage your oil cooler, piping or radiator
